Nationwide Flooring were chosen to carry out flooring improvements at Grange School in Levenshulme, Manchester, delivering practical, durable solutions across both the reception hallway and the children’s soft play area.
The project began with the uplift and responsible disposal of the existing flooring, followed by detailed subfloor preparation including primer application and a 3mm screed to create a smooth, stable base for the new finishes. In the reception hallway, Polysafe Wood FX safety flooring was supplied and installed, providing a slip-resistant, hardwearing surface suited to a busy school entrance while maintaining a warm, natural wood aesthetic.
In the children’s soft play area, our team installed free-issue vinyl flooring, ensuring a safe, resilient and easy-to-maintain surface for everyday use. Throughout the project, Nationwide Flooring worked closely with the school to accommodate additional requests and ensure the installation met the practical needs of the environment. The result is a refreshed, high-quality flooring solution that enhances both functionality and safety within the school.
